01 Install

Install the WOM MPS package.

  1. Extract the supplied WOM MPS customer package to a local folder.
  2. Run INSTALL_WOM_MPS.cmd and allow the installer to complete.
  3. Open Autodesk Inventor normally and select the Add-Ins tab.
  4. Confirm the WOM | MPS panel is visible.
If the panel is missing

Open Inventor's Add-In Manager and unblock/enable the WOM MPS add-in. This is the manual fallback if Windows or Inventor has blocked a downloaded add-in.

02 Activate

Authorise this computer.

  1. Open Account → MPS Licences on the WOM website.
  2. Select Generate activation code.
  3. Enter the one-time code in Inventor when WOM MPS asks for activation.
  4. The authorised computer is then listed against your licence.

03 Devices

Move or release a licence.

Use MPS Licence inside Inventor to deactivate the current computer, or revoke an authorised device remotely from your WOM account.

A revoked device cannot continue validating against the licence. If the local activation is no longer valid, MPS returns to the activation screen.

04 Offline use

Short outages should not stop the job.

After a successful online validation, the current licensing policy allows up to 72 hours of offline grace. Reconnect within that window so the licence can validate again.

Expired, revoked or mismatched signed packages are rejected when the client validates with WOM.

Quick diagnosis

What does the message mean?

Activation requiredGenerate a fresh 10-minute activation code from your WOM account.
Device not authorisedThe saved activation is no longer valid. Relaunch MPS and activate the computer again if the licence permits it.
Licence expiredThe commercial licence has reached its server-managed expiry date. Renewal is required.
Package mismatchThe installed signed MPS package is not the package assigned to that licence.
Add-in not visibleCheck Inventor Add-In Manager and unblock/enable WOM MPS.
